Julia Figueiredo holds a law degree from the Law School of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). She works in judicial and arbitral proceedings, with in-depth experience as both a lawyer and secretary of Arbitral Tribunals in domestic and international arbitrations. Listed by Ranking Análise Advocacia Mulher, Julia has been cited as one of the most respected lawyers in the field of Arbitration in 2022 and 2023. Since 2018, she continues to be one of the coaches of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro’s team for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Julia is a Portuguese native speaker in addition to being fluent in English and German.
